Winter 2026 40-Hour Virtual Training: Foundations of Mediation & Restorative Justice Practices

This engaging and interactive 40-hour training is designed for for community members interested in learning about communication across differences, conflict resolution, mediation, facilitation and restorative justice practices. These skills are useful in all areas of life—family relationships, work relationships, volunteer work, etc. If you are interested in enhancing your communication and listening skills, along with learning basic mediation and negotiation techniques, this is a great opportunity for you. The training offers hands-on skill development, combining small and large group discussions, demonstrations, and interactive exercises. Completion of the training qualifies participants to become volunteer mediators with CJAM.
Tuition is $300, with an early bird special of $275 if received by January15, 2025. A limited number of scholarships are available! To request a scholarship complete the last question on the registration form.
Training sessions will be held via Zoom.
The training sessions, which begin on February 5, are on Thursday from 7-9 PM and on Saturday from 9 AM -3:30 PM. All times are Eastern time zone.
